By using SimpleFi, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language on purpose.
The service
SimpleFi is a personal finance tracking app. You enter your financial data manually. We provide the tools to track, visualize, and engage with that data daily. We do not provide financial advice.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. SimpleFi uses magic links — no passwords. You may not share your account or use it on behalf of others without their consent.
Subscriptions and billing
SimpleFi is a paid subscription service. Billing is handled by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, but if something went wrong, email us and we'll make it right.
Your data
You own your data. SimpleFi stores it to provide the service. We don't sell it or use it for any purpose outside of operating SimpleFi. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
Use SimpleFi for its intended purpose — personal financial tracking. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service. Don't use it for anything illegal.
Availability
We work hard to keep SimpleFi running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, change, or (with notice) discontinue features. We're not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.
Limitation of liability
SimpleFi is not a financial advisor. Decisions you make based on data in the app are yours. We're not responsible for financial outcomes. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding any claim.
Changes to these terms
We'll notify you by email if we make material changes to these terms. Continued use after notice means you accept the updated terms.
