The daily habit loop
Two minutes a day.
Here’s what that looks like.
SimpleFi isn’t a dashboard you check when you remember to. It’s a two-minute daily practice — three steps, every day, until financial clarity becomes second nature.
Mood check-in
Before you see any numbers, SimpleFi asks how you’re feeling about your finances right now — on a scale of 1 to 5.
This isn’t a wellness gimmick. It’s a design decision. Capturing your emotional baseline before the data means you get an honest read — not a reaction shaped by the numbers you’re about to see.
Over time, the gap between how you feel and how you’re actually doing becomes its own insight.
Account card stack
Your accounts are arranged as a physical card stack — most relevant on top. SimpleFi bubbles your most-used accounts to the top automatically, and any account with a payment due today always surfaces first.
Tap a card to open it. SimpleFi asks only what’s relevant for that account type:
- Checking — Did you spend? Receive anything?
- Savings — Transfer out or deposit?
- Credit card — Any purchases? Did you make a payment?
- Loans / Mortgage — Payment made? Any extra toward principal?
- Investments — Contribution, withdrawal, or balance change?
- Cash — What’s your balance right now?
Untouched cards mean “nothing today” — no skip button needed. Logged cards visually separate from the stack.
Fanfare for the wins that matter
Certain actions trigger a brief celebratory overlay — a debt payment, a savings deposit, an investment contribution. It auto-dismisses in seconds. It’s never preachy. It’s just a moment of honest acknowledgment.
Today’s picture
When you’re done, SimpleFi shows your complete financial snapshot — net worth, cash, debt, assets — plus the delta from yesterday. No noise. Just signal.
Your streak updates. Your mood is logged. SimpleFi tells you something honest and human — not a generic "Great job!" but something calibrated to where you actually are.
Then you close the app and go live your life. That’s it.
Built for couples, not just individuals
Partners log independently, on their own schedule. The household sees a shared snapshot. Dual streaks — a solo streak and a couples streak — track consistency together without the pressure of perfect synchronization.
One partner misses a day? The couples streak has grace built in. Financial teamwork is messy. SimpleFi accounts for that.

Onboarding isn’t a linear wizard — it’s a todo list of category cards. Add your accounts at your own pace, in any order. Cash first, then debt, then investments. Partners can fill in different sections asynchronously.
No starting balance to research. Just enter what your accounts look like today, and SimpleFi starts building your picture from right now.
Completing onboarding is Day 1 of your streak.
